Lavanya Ashok
Partner, Trifecta Capital
Ms. Lavanya Ashok is a Partner at Trifecta Capital and leads Trifecta’s growth-stage equity investing business. Prior to joining Trifecta, she was Managing Director, Private Equity at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She joined GS as an analyst in 2004 in New York and rejoined the firm in Mumbai in 2010 – across these stints, she has spent over 12.5 years with the firm. Prior to re-joining Goldman Sachs, Lavanya worked as an investment professional at SPO Partners, a $10 billion California-based hedge fund.
Lavanya earned a BS in Economics and Finance summa cum laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 where she was among the top 1% of students in her graduating class, and an MBA in 2010 from Stanford University where she was a Barrett Fellow and President of the South Asia Students’ Association.
Lavanya is passionate about investing, books, dance, yoga, and meditation. When not at work, she can be found outdoors with her husband and twin toddlers.
