ICICI Prudential Alternate Investments enjoys a rich parentage of two large organizations — ICICI Bank Ltd, India's largest private sector bank and one of the most trusted brands in financial services, and Prudential Plc UK, an international financial services company with significant operations across Asia, the US, and the UK. ICICI Prudential Alternate Investments is the brand that covers both Portfolio Management Services and Alternative Investment Funds, managed by ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited.
The objective and purpose of the Scheme is to predominantly invest in equity and equity-related securities with an aim to achieve long-term capital appreciation and generate returns in accordance with applicable laws. To limit downside risk of the portfolio, the Scheme may also adopt various derivative strategies, holding mutual funds, government securities, and other high-quality liquid assets as margin money where relevant. The Scheme may invest up to 10% of investable funds in unlisted equities, as deemed appropriate by the Investment Manager.
India's growth has been underpinned by structural reforms, prudent government policy, sustained investment, steady capital flows, and continued improvement in ease of doing business — a macro backdrop the Scheme's strategy construct is designed to draw on.
India is projected to grow at a 10% CAGR, among the fastest-growing major economies globally, supported by lower oil dependence, rising services exports, and fiscal prudence.
Sovereign rating upgrades and improving fiscal metrics have helped lift investor confidence and support foreign capital inflows.
India's growth trajectory is expected to meaningfully raise its share of global GDP over the coming years.
Consumption stands to benefit from GST rationalisation, along with salary and pension revisions supporting urban demand.
