Chief Executive Officer, Qi Cap
Amar Shah joined Qi Cap as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Founding Team. In this role, he is responsible for shaping the firm’s strategic direction and driving growth across its business segments.
Prior to joining Qi Cap, Amar served as Chief Business Officer at ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, bringing over 25 years of comprehensive experience in the financial services industry.
He has been associated with ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (IPAMC) for a significant part of his career, having started his professional journey in 2001 and held multiple leadership roles over the years. As Head of Business, he led the organization to a leadership position by strengthening distribution capabilities and enhancing customer engagement, while also contributing to overall business growth.
With over two decades of industry experience, Amar has built deep expertise across both retail and institutional segments and is widely recognized for his strategic vision and execution excellence.
He holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from R.A. Podar College, Mumbai.
