Sunil Singhania, CFA, has more than 2 decades of experience and is the Founder of Abakkus Asset Management, LLP, an India-focused Asset Management Company that he established in 2018. Prior to this, in his role as Global Head – Equities at Reliance Capital Ltd., he oversaw equity assets and provided strategic inputs across Reliance Capital Group of companies including asset management, insurance, AIF and offshore assets. And as CIO – Equities, Singhania led Reliance Mutual Fund (now Nippon India Mutual Fund), equity schemes to be rated amongst the best. Reliance Growth Fund (now Nippon India Growth Fund) grew over 100 times in less than 22 years under Singhania’s leadership. Sunil Singhania is the first Indian to be appointed on the Global Board of CFA institute, USA . A Bombay University graduate, currently Sunil Singhania is the only Indian to be appointed on the IFRS Capital Market Advisory Committee (CMAC) till 2023.
Mr. Aman Chowhan

Aman Chowhan is a Mumbai University MBA graduate. Aman has been active in the Indian equity market for more than 17 years. He formerly served as the Portfolio Manager for both domestic and foreign schemes at the PMS unit of Reliance Asset Management (now Nippon Life India Asset Management). Aman’s experience working in Reliance’s Singapore office gives him a regional and global perspective on investing. He excels at benchmark, absolute long, and long-short strategies. Before working for Reliance in 2005, he was a research analyst for TAIB Securities, Tata TD Waterhouse, and other brokerage houses.
Mr. Deven Sangoi
Senior Fund Manager, Abakkus Asset Manager LLP
Deven Sangoi has 22 years of asset management expertise, with 12 years in the insurance sector and 10 years in the mutual fund sector. Prior to this position, he served as CIO at Canara HSBC OBC life, where he oversaw both equity and fixed income investments with a corpus of about USD $4 billion. Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company, Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Co. Ltd, and ICICI Pru AMC, are just a few of the reputable companies with which he has previously worked. He holds a post-graduate degree in finance from Newport University and a degree in electronics engineering from Bombay University.
